Ahmed shah masoud (1953 - 2001) !
An engineering student turned military leader who played a leading role in driving the Soviet army out of Afghanistan, nicknamed "Lion of Panjshir". Defense Minister of Afghanistan in 1992 n after the collapse of government nd the rise of the Taliban regime, Massoud became the military leader of the United Islamic Front for the Salvation of Afghanistan (Northern Alliance)fighting against da now renowned BinLaden,al-Qaeda n da Taliban.
In 1998, the CIA,nd former US president Bill Clinton offered Masoud nd his 'Northern Alliance' assistance to capture Osama bin Laden. But in truth very little was done n masoud n his men were fighting a lone battle.
In a speech given by Masoud dating April 2001 in the European Parliament, he warned the world about the threats from Taliban and Al-Qaeda, and that an important terrorist attack was imminent. The US and European governments paid no attention to these warnings.
On September 9,2001 Massoud was assassinated by al-Qaeda agents, posing as journalists in s suicide bomb attack.
The timing of the assassination, just two days before the September 11, 2001 attacks on the United States, is significant as Osama bin Laden ordered the assassination to help Taliban and in return ensure he would have their protection and cooperation in Afghanistan, when the world came looking for him .
The September 11, 2001 World trade centre attacks, proved to be the terrorist attack that Massoud had warned
against.....
Only if sum1 had listened in to his cries..So much could have been avoided.....So many life's could have been saved....Things would have been so much differrent !!

Ernesto Che Guevara (1928 - 1967) !
Guess most of ya know who dis man is..... da iconic revolutionary rebel , who fought n died for the people of Cuba, the lower class across the world n sum1 who never stood by the domination of the super powers .
Don wanna penn in too much bt him n what he has done ( hopin u r all pretty well aware, if u aint den get outta here ...huh )
But please do read this...
Human rights watch world report 2005
" The cuban govt denies its citizens basic rights to freedom of expression, association, assembly, movement and a fair trail. A one party state, Cuba restricts nearly all avenues of political dissent.Tactics for enforcing political confirmity include police warnings, surveillance, short term detentions, house arrest, travel restrictions, crminal prosecutions and also politically motivated dismissals from employment. "
Castro remains in power in Cuba. The idealism of revolution has soured. Castro has prevented the introduction of democracy to his island home and therefore cheated its populationof the hopes of the revolutionary victory in 1959. Hundreds of people are held as prisoners....
Castro's rule has become a bloody dictatorship !!
If Che was alive today, he would have killed himself lookin @ da current state of Cuba....Che gave his blood n sweat for Castro but today, evthng has been turned around......WHAT A PITY !
A GREAT SOUL LOST FOR almost NOTHING !

Bhagat Singh(September 28 1907–March 23 1931)
For me, easily the most famous revolutionary in Indian history. The brainchild behind Kakori train robbery, the brave heart who threw bombs onto the corridors of the assembly and shouted Inquilab Zindabad!
After his arrest and during trial for the Assembly bombing, Bhagat went on a hunger strike that lasted 63 days demanding books and newspaper n better treatment from the ruling British govt on da basis of being a political prisoner. (the main idea being, spreading the fire of freedom among the common Indians)
On March 23, 1931, Bhagat Singh was hanged in Lahore with his fellow comrades Rajguru and Sukhdev.
FREE INDIA WAS A DREAM TO BHAGAT....Today, politicians dosent even know about him or his ideas n sadly most Indians aren't aware of it too...
A great person...Imagine his ideas n thinking n da luv for the motherland....@ 24 he was willing to die for it( not just in words but in true spirited actions )
How many Indians today r on par.......?
Shaheed Bhagat Singh !
