Come November 24 in this cold November rain and there u have it- Pulsar will celebrate Six glorious years on the Indian tar.Some call it the phantom,for a few its a power train and The Oxford Dictionary says, its a star that emits rapid radio waves.Whatever you choose to name, it has been the runaway leader ever since it took off.
Pulsar has come a long way from its early days of air cooled,single cylinder, spark ignited four stroke engine uptill the latest twin spark fuel injection and setting the bar to beat for every competitor with its 220 variant.A first timer to bring many features in its segment to the Indian bike enthusiast ranging from Nitrox absorbers,Lcd digital speedo,self cancelling indicator, rear disc to name a few.
Apart from all this , the biggest achievement of Pulsar has been that it has changed the face of the Indian bike industry once and for all.....and only pulsar has done it to such an extent that it could even manage to create a space in the minds and hearts of every bike enthusiast in the country.
So what exactly has been the suscess story of Pulsar.Is it the constant upgrades which came towards the end of every year? Is it the bikers themselves who were drained and tired looking for an affordable speedster? Or Was it the right bike at the right time carrying the right message ???

Pulsar wasnt released on Nov 2001, it came before March 31 2001 in pune. I remember going for a test ride of this beast in march 2001 to a Bajaj Showroom in Pune
ev1 knws tht Pulsar was initially launched in Pune.....lucky guys der :) the date i mentioned ova here is d nation wide launch of d pulsar ........... :))
